Digital Media Buyer

A leading boutique digital and social media marketing agency with offices in Canada and the US is quickly growing and requiring experienced, dynamic, and driven advertising and marketing individuals to join their expanding team. We are actively sourcing for an experienced Digital Media Buyer with a strong background located in San Diego. The Digital Media Buyer will have proven experience in buying, trading and building media strategies in digital media. Working closely with the key executives, account management and advertising operations team, the Digital Media Buyer will be responsible for running various paid media campaigns across numerous channels. Overseeing media buys, ensuring performance of campaigns, and staying abreast of new media technologies are crucial.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Execution, optimization, and management of campaigns
  • Analyze campaigns and user data to identify opportunities
  • Be aware and up to speed on the industry trends and able to make recommendations
  • Build and manage partnerships with DSPs, SSPs, and Exchanges
  • Provide insight and feedback to advertiser/publisher account teams, advertising operations, and management to improve capabilities and offering
  • As a subject matter expert, you will provide training on programmatic buying and selling best practices
  • Work with account management to communicate success and optimizations to clients
  • Conduct daily and monthly reporting analysis
  • Support in relevant new business pitches and related work

Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years digital marketing experience
  • 2 plus years media buying experience
  • Experience in media buying on Facebook, Google, & Native platforms is essential
  • Skilled in setting up and managing Product Listing Ads
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Copy and creative writing experience is a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge programmatic media
  • Experience with utilizing 1st and 3rd party audience data
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Firm understanding of desktop and mobile advertising ecosystems
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • IAB certification and experience with Bing and ecommerce platforms a bonus
  • Experience working with photoshop is an asset
