They are currently seeking a self-motivated, driven and experienced Sales Representative in Vancouver, with proven success and experience. As a Sales Representative, you will be working with a broad range product portfolio that includes corrugated packaging, tapes, films, adhesives, foam, bubble, and packaging machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Support coverage of assigned accounts and /or an assigned geography
- Actively pursue new packaging related business
- Understand and achieve sales targets and sales objectives
- Demonstrate products and train customers on product applications
- Understand customer processes and sell value versus price
- Work with vendor representatives, customer specifications, and material approvals through conducting joint sales
- Ability to understand customer packaging needs
- Develop strong relationships and influence customers and prospects
- Ability to understand customer business priorities
- Understand customer manufacturing processes
- Utilize solution-based selling skills
- Manage sales funnel
- Track and measure results against business plan
Qualifications:
- Experience selling packaging products and services
- Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a business to business sales
- Strong business hunting and well developed account management skills
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding yearly sales goals
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Good computer skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Takes active role in self development
