
Our Client is a prominent food service/hospitality leader who’s been undergoing significant growth throughout Canada. As a result of their successes, we are currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, commercial real estate professional to join their company as a Real Estate Manager and play a key role in driving the organization’s continued growth in Canada.
As the Real Estate Manager, you will:
- Aggressively source, identify, negotiate and close real estate opportunities to facilitate the organization’s regional growth plan
- Manage and direct real estate brokers and franchisees in site selection and lease negotiations
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and restaurant owners
- Maintain communication with franchisees regarding the process and progress of securing sites
- Manage the status of lease documentation through full execution, working with in-house and outside legal as required
- Remain involved in managing the existing lease portfolio and renewals within the territory
- Act as a liaison between franchisees and Landlords to resolve problems
- Prepare and update internal reports as required
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in commercial real estate
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate markets in Canada
- Restaurant experience a definite asset
- Proven market analysis and site selection skills and experience
- Extremely high level of motivation and drive
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
