My client is expanding quickly and I am actively sourcing for a Business Development Executive to help build new business opportunities throughout the North America. As a Business Development Executive based in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, your key responsibilities are to grow business within existing accounts and to develop net new business. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a company with extremely strong operations and to be a key player in their growth of the sales team. Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain new client partnerships throughout North America
* Prospect and identify new opportunities, build and manage a sales pipeline and accurately forecast business revenue
* Manage and retain accounts and grow business
* Collaborate with functional teams to ensure success with clients
* Build and develop a strong understanding of clients and their needs to help build the best solution for them
* Maintain and update accurate information
* Meet and exceed targets and expectations
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3+ years’ sales experience in transportation/logistics/supply chain
* Strong understanding of LTL, FL, and freight brokerage
* Proven track record of success in solutions driven B2B sales
* Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
* Strong understanding of the sales process.
* Successful experience in driving net new business – we are looking for a Hunter!

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to handle negotiations
