The Print Production Consultant has the responsibility for successfully leading sales engagements and negotiating complex business relationships for high-end printing systems, and associated third-party finishing, integrated software, and workflow solutions. The Consultant will build a healthy pipeline of close-able business to build revenue and post-sales growth as well work with the Solutions Sales executives in doing so to support this. The Print Production Consultant will need to collaborate with multiple sales resources to ensure a successful close of the sales cycle and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the sales cycle’s into larger commercial print, trade print, and packaging and must have expert understanding of the supported products and lines of
- Expert knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, workflows (from pre-press, plates business and MIS solutions), and in the utilization of the relevant
- Leads qualified opportunities from the development to delivery following the key steps of the sales cycle such as executive presentations, Customer Workflow Studies, assessments of the customer business with their recommendations
- Applies the appropriate procedure to ensure that the client’s solution is aligned to their business priorities and demonstrates competitive advantage, meets financial and profitability goals over the lifetime of the deal; mitigates key risk exposures and ensures that we can
- Identifies, engages and collaborates with head office marketing and technical resources to assist in delivering on the client
- Completes Service Performance Reviews quarterly on current customers to: help grow profitable customer pages and Total Sales Revenue
- Coach the Solutions Sales Executives on how to call into commercial offset accounts, packaging, trade Ability to direct them on how to prospect creatively
Qualifications:
- Completed University Degree
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a business development or sales role
- Knowledge of the Marketplace and Market Trends
- Ability to learn and articulate the Client’s protocols
- Demonstrated ability to lead a program and transfer knowledge to the sales teams
- Ability to travel across BC with overnight travel necessary to support sales teams
