
Our client is a leader in the payment processing industry and an innovator and trend setter in payment solutions for their customers. The Sales Lead/Account Manager, reporting to the Director of US Direct Channel Sales, will be responsible for cultivating and actively building prospects with strategic partners and alliances within and assigned territory. This position as a Sales Lead/Account Manager requires the incumbent to have a vast knowledge of business strategies and the ability to close deals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or diploma in a related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the payment processing industry with demonstrated ability to meet sales goals.
- Experience in building partner/alliance relationships and successfully driving business acquisition through the channels
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting ability
- Proven experience and success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to work on RFPs and complete them on time.
- Excellent communications skills and strong command of the English language
- Ability to effectively demonstrate, explain and sell merchant processing suite of products and services.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
- Ability to communicate with personnel up and down the company and their partner(s) or prospect.
- Strong presentation, technical, consultative and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize a consultative sales approach to prospective merchants and ability to establish a positive working rapport with partners and alliances
- Able to travel throughout the territory 30%
