This role is designed for the seasoned sales professional who has an interest in coaching, skills development, and training. The Sales Trainer plays a critical role in onboarding, sales training and soft skills development of Sales Representatives in the dealer/agent channel. The Sales Trainer will support new hires by traveling with them on sales calls, facilitating sales cycles, and providing coaching and feedback. The role also provides ongoing sales skills training through delivery of monthly training modules and developing targeted training programs as required. He/she will also work with Sales Representatives identified as needing additional support on an individual or group basis. This person will be a key player within the region, liaising with Recruiting, Learning and Development, Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Sales VPs to drive continued success.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of successful outside B2B Sales experience
- Program management or sales management experience is a plus
- Deep understanding of the sales process, qualifying, objection handling, pipeline management
- Must be able to adapt coaching style to varying levels of experience and knowledge
- Strong activating/execution and problem solving skill
- Coaching experience, delivering constructive feedback
- Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
